Asking Alexandria is a prominent British rock band known for their significant influence on the metalcore scene and their subsequent evolution into a melodic hard rock sound. Originally formed in Dubai in 2003, the band was later re-established in York, England, in 2008 by guitarist Ben Bruce.

• Early Era (2009–2012): Characterized by "electronicore," a fusion of metalcore with heavy synth and electronic elements. This period produced their breakout albums Stand Up and Scream (2009) and Reckless & Relentless (2011).
• Growth & Transition (2013–2016): From Death to Destiny (2013) saw them moving toward a more mature hard rock and heavy metal sound. During vocalist Danny Worsnop's brief departure (2015–2016), they released The Black with singer Denis Stoff.
• Modern Era (2017–Present): Since Worsnop's return, the band has fully embraced a stadium-rock and melodic hard rock style with albums like their self-titled 2017 release, See What's on the Inside (2021), and their most recent, Where Do We Go from Here? (2023).
