Formed in 1983 in New Jersey, the band achieved global success with hits like "Livin' on a Prayer". Over a 40-year career, he has sold over 130 million records, released 16 studio albums, and earned inductions into both the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame. 

Following vocal cord surgery in 2022, he returned in 2024 with the album Forever and a documentary series, Thank You, Goodnight. Beyond music, he runs the JBJ Soul Foundation to combat hunger and homelessness.
