• Digital Pioneer: Before its physical release, the band famously intended to release the entire album for free on their website via peer-to-peer file sharing. Columbia Records threatened to sue, forcing a traditional physical release instead.
• Commercial Success: It debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200, selling over 125,000 copies in its first week. It was later certified Platinum by the RIAA.
• Final Classic Lineup: This was the final studio album to feature longtime drummer Ron Welty, who was fired from the band in 2003.

• 20th Anniversary (2020): To celebrate two decades, the band released deluxe vinyl reissues, including a canary yellow variant, featuring the bonus track "Huck It!".
• 25th Anniversary (2025): The album recently reached its 25th anniversary on 14 November 2025, with the band celebrating the milestone across social media.
