• Mainstream Breakthrough: Their 1999 album Enema of the State became a global phenomenon, selling over 15 million copies and featuring hits like "All the Small Things" and "What's My Age Again?".
• Successive Hits: They followed up with the #1 album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket in 2001 and a more experimental self-titled album in 2003.
• Hiatuses and Reunions:
  • 2005–2009: The band took an "indefinite hiatus" due to internal tensions. They reunited in 2009 following Travis Barker's survival of a tragic plane crash.
  • 2015–2022: Tom DeLonge left the band again and was replaced by Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio for two albums, California and Nine.
  • 2022–Present: DeLonge returned to the group after reconnecting with his bandmates following Mark Hoppus's successful battle with cancer.

The reunited classic lineup released their ninth studio album, One More Time..., in October 2023, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. They followed this with a deluxe version, One More Time... Part-2, in September 2024.
